The Pokémon Company recently revealed a special set to celebrate 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It's called the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set. According to the official news, this set is scheduled for a global release on September 16, 2026. Every card in the booster packs will be a foil card. The set will include a new "Futuristic rare" rarity, special illustrated cards featuring popular Pokémon, and a unique collection of 30 different holographic Pikachu cards illustrated by 30 different artists. You're guaranteed one of these Pikachu cards in each booster pack. They're also reprinting 30 iconic classic cards from the history of the game with special foiling. It's a neat way to celebrate the history of the cards we all love.
For players looking ahead to the next main expansion, the next set has been teased. It's called Mega Evolution — Delta Reign and is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.
