Barricade Board Game - Fun Family Game (Online Order Only)

Barricade is a wildly popular board game and one of the most unique in our collection! The game is packed with strategy and designed for 2 to 4 players. The most fun to be had is when players do not try to spare each other's feelings, so be prepared for some exciting conflict at family game night! Barricade originated from Germany in 1959, and was called Malefiz at the time. Some versions of Barricade also resemble the game of Pachisi. 

Barricade’s basic set of rules is based on the concepts of attack and defense. During gameplay, you must stop your opponent from being the first to reach the endpoint by placing barricades along their path. Otherwise, you might find that "It's a long hard road / when your friends start / to leave you behind" (Neil Young). As you progress along the board, players can also land on their opponent’s pegs to send them back to the start. How kind will you be to your competition?

The colorful, wooden board folds in half to hold all playing pieces internally when not in use - which also makes for easy travel!
