It's been centuries since we've lost touch with them and we've finally discovered a safe seaway to these mythical islands! In Rivages, players will be exploring these lost islands, uncovering ancient relics, and amassing valuable knowledge.
Players start with their own map of an Island that's divided into several colored areas. Each turn they cross out the available symbols from one of the two cards in their hand, cross out matching fields on their map, then pass the cards along to their neighbor. By exploring certain areas, completing quests on the Island, looting treasures, and progressing on their own Tree of Wisdom, they gather valuable scrolls. If they've exhausted most of their research on their current Island, reaching a boat allows them to move to a new one! Whoever has the most scrolls at the end of the game wins.
- EXPLORE LOST ISLANDS: Rediscover the mythical Myr Archipelago and chart your journey across mysterious islands, uncovering ancient relics, completing quests, and gathering valuable scrolls.
- STRATEGIC FLIP-AND-WRITE GAMEPLAY: Each turn, choose a card to cross off symbols on your island map, explore new areas, and pass the cards along to your neighbor—offering high levels of player interaction.
- REPLAYABILITY WITH DIVERSE ISLANDS: With multiple island boards, exploration cards, and unique Tree of Wisdom boards, no two games of Rivages are the same, ensuring endless replay value.
- SOLO MODE INCLUDED: Enjoy the full Rivages experience even in solo mode! The solo version closely resembles multiplayer gameplay, offering the same depth without needing an AI opponent.
- PERFECT FOR FAMILY GAME NIGHT: Rivages is perfect for 1-4 players, delivering an exciting strategic adventure for ages 12 and up. Explore, loot, and outwit your opponents in this captivating island adventure!
