An all-new tale of epic scope and flair that combines the elements of story telling and action that make every adventure so fun!
When war threatens the Moonshae Isles, legendary heroes return to defeat the forces of an unthinkable foe. The Forgotten Realms are changed forever as young wizard Helene and her friends grow from raw recruits on the streets of Mintarn into powerful warriors.Reviews
"The creative team of B. Dave Walters and Tess Fowler craft a fantasy story that hews close to classic fantasy and yet is unique to D&D. Fowler's art in particular is a highlight, as this is probably the strongest work of her career… A must-read for any fans of ‘classic’ fantasy, even if you've never picked up a die." -ComicBook.com
“Bookended by real emotional weight. Walters' script is tight and focuses on character development rather than world-building, which allows him to move the plot along at an intense pace. Fowler and Fotos are in full beast mode here, delivering page after page of pure awesomeness." -Nerdist
"If you have ever played D&D before, you can for sure see this as if it was being played out over the tabletop. Some areas felt like someone had rolled a Nat20 and areas where someone failed a saving throw. It all felt just like a group of people had played this out, and this is the shortened version of that story." --Pastrami NationAbout the Authors
B. Dave Walters is the writer of Dungeons & Dragons for IDW Publishing as well as for his work on the shows Vampire: The Masquerade: L.A. By Night, Shield of Tomorrow, and Where the Wall Meets the Sky. He is the co-host of Ask Your Black Geek Friend and a founding member of The Uncommon Trust.
Tess Fowler started out in Heavy Metal Magazine, but it was her artwork on Rat Queens (with Kurtis Wiebe) that put her on the map. Her webcomic, The Rascals, can be found at http://rascalscomic.com/. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband. All Sales are Final.
