The Rolling Stones – Black and Blue [Deluxe 2LP]
Description
Originally released in 1976, Black and Blue finds The Rolling Stones pushing into new musical territory, blending funk, reggae, and soul with their rock foundation. The album introduced Ronnie Wood as a full-time member, while standout tracks like “Hot Stuff,” “Fool to Cry,” and “Memory Motel” highlight the band’s adventurous mid-’70s spirit.
This Deluxe 2LP Edition features a brand-new 2025 remix by Steven Wilson on Disc 1, delivering fresh clarity and depth to the original album. Disc 2 compiles rare outtakes and jam sessions, with appearances from Jeff Beck, Harvey Mandel, Billy Preston, and Robert A. Johnson, offering fans a rare glimpse into the Stones’ creative process.
