The General's Handbook 2025-2026 contains a wealth of content for Matched Play games in the war-torn setting of the Mortal Realms, where you can achieve glory on the battlefield in contests of skill and generalship against fellow players.
This 72-page softcover book contains:
– A brief background section bringing you up to speed with the latest narrative events in Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
– Matched Play Season Rules 2025-2026. Includes a section on the special rules for the Ghyranite Objectives – Oakenbrow, Gnarlroot, Winterleaf, and Heartwood.
– Rules for Battle Tactics and information detailing how to score extra victory points by completing the objectives on battle tactics cards you choose when you assemble your army.
– A blank tournament scoring sheet to keep track of important information throughout the game, such as victory points and battle tactics.
– 12x brand-new Matched Play battleplans.
– The Warhammer Age of Sigmar Core Rules, reprinted here for reference during your games. A rules glossary is also included at the back of this book.
– Advanced Rules for applying to matched play battlepacks, including Commands, Terrain, Magic, Army Composition, and Command Models.

– 1x Deck of battlepack cards, including 1x double-sided rules reference card, 6x battle tactics cards and 6x double-sided battleplan cards. The cards measure 161.5mm by 107.1mm.
– 13x Double-sided universal manifestation warscroll cards and spell lore cards. The warscroll cards measure 70mm by 121mm.
– 6x Objective mats, featuring a 40mm central objective, and a 3" circle around the outside. They are each 192.4mm in diameter and feature a top made from a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) material with a matte finish and a flocked underside to reduce slippage on the gaming surface.All Sales are Final.

Anime Grading Guide
'Near Mint (NM)'
Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

'Lightly Played (LP)'
Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

'Moderately Played (MP)'
Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '
'
'Heavily Played (HP)'
Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '

'Damaged (D)'
Damaged condition cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could make the card illegal for tournament play, even when sleeved. Damaged condition cards have massive border wear, possible writing or major inking (ex. white-bordered cards with black-markered front borders), massive corner wear, prevalent scratching, folds, creases or tears. '
