An enticing new voice on the house music scene, Eemon Kari-Zon left her native Africa for Miami, where her burgeoning talent caught the eye of the production team at KingJam Records. Impressed by her majestic pipes and unassuming style, they quickly got her into the studio to record the single "Nawo." Struck by her confident ease in the studio setting, the team immediately got to work on creating a proper full-length album, and everything just seemed to fall into place organically. The album's eleven tracks create a satisfying vibe that captures in equal measure the obvious allure of Kari-Zon's inviting vocalese, and the confident studio craft of the staff at KingJam. The album includes the fantastic Eartight remix featured on the debut single "Nawo," plus "Move In Silence," an English version of the album track "Gbe Ipalolo" as well as a guest appearance from Trey Maxx, who appears on the "In The Motherland."
