Prince and the Revolution – Around The World In A Day: 2025 Remaster (Blue Marble LP)
Released on April 22, 1985, Prince’s seventh studio album — and the second credited to Prince and the Revolution — Around The World In A Day once again saw Prince push his artistry in a bold new direction. Following the global success of Purple Rain, he embraced psychedelic textures, incorporated new instrumentation, and broadened the genres of his music.
Featuring the timeless singles “Raspberry Beret,” “Paisley Park,” “Pop Life,” and “America,” this newly remastered edition was overseen by original mastering engineer Bernie Grundman, with additional mastering by Chris James. This 2025 reissue is pressed on blue marble vinyl, bringing a fresh look to one of Prince’s most adventurous and colorful albums.
