Released on April 22, 1985, Prince’s seventh studio album — and the second credited to Prince and the Revolution — Around The World In A Day marked yet another bold shift in sound. Following the massive success of Purple Rain, Prince pushed his artistry into new territory with psychedelic textures, diverse instrumentation, and a kaleidoscopic mix of styles that broadened the scope of pop music in the 1980s.

Featuring hit singles including “Raspberry Beret,” “Paisley Park,” and “Pop Life,” this newly remastered edition has been overseen by original mastering engineer Bernie Grundman with additional mastering by Chris James. It also includes the 22-minute 12” version of “America,” making its debut on CD. Available November 21, 2025.
