After the third successful Quintet Jazz Festival in Sanremo, recorded in January 19, 1958, Walter Guertler, president of Saar, became convinced that it was time to make an album dedicated to the Californian genre. The following year, he published on the label Music, the mentioned Album, the band was composed of Oscar Valdambrini, Gianni Basso, Renato Sellani, Azzolini Giorgio and Gianni Cazzola. We point out the particular interpretation of "Parlami d'amore Mariu".
