Deluxe three CD edition featuring bonus tracks and two CDs containing live material. The Best Years of Our Lives is the third studio album by Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, released in 1975. It was the first album that featured Harley's name ahead of the band's. The album contains the band's only UK number one, the million-selling "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)". The album was produced by Harley and Alan Parsons. The band recorded The Best Years of Our Lives at Abbey Road Studios and Air Studios in London. Discs Two and Three contain a live set recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in April of 1975.
