The gear-grinding group from the Great White North (a.k.a. Canada) never took themselves too seriously, as they stormed the land during the mid-seventies with a truck load of riffs, straight-to-the-gut three chord rock, and bass heavy roll. BTO's second album, 'Bachman-Turner Overdrive II', was released in December 1973 and became an enormous hit in the US and their native Canada.
