Caitlin Cary - While You Weren't Looking [CD] (ONLINE ORDER ONLY)

Caitlin Cary may be best known currently as Ryan Adams' partner in one of alternative country's finest bands, Whiskeytown, but with this full-length debut release, Cary steps out on her own with outstanding results. Along with producer Chris Stamey (Alejandro Escovedo, dB's and many others) and ex-Whiskeytown mate Mike Daly, Cary has created a disc that showcases her depth as a writer and vocalist which goes beyond the material that many have come to know her for. The basis of the album is Americana, but many of the songs extend into more pop oriented territory as well. National tour beginning in March, with a full publicity campaign, including service to AAA, Americana and college radio. A 4-song, limited-edition bonus CD will also be included within the packaging, and will include a duet with Ryan Adams of a previously unrecorded Whiskeytown song, "The Battle."'
