The Vegas-born Johnson was selected from over 1,000 entries to sing the National Anthem at one of the Knights’ inaugural season games in 2017 and quickly became the primary National Anthem singer at Vegas Golden Knights games following his rousing performance of The Star-Spangled Banner that earned him the nickname “Golden Pipes”.
