This bobblehead features the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. Christ the Redeemer is an Art Deco statue towering over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Constructed between 1922 and 1931, the colossal statue is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone and weighs 635 metric tons. It stands 98 feet tall, atop a 26-foot-tall pedestal. Christ the Redeemer is located at the peak of the 2,300-foot Mount Corcovado in the Tijuca National Park overlooking the city of Rio de Janeiro. A symbol of Christianity around the world, the statue has become an icon of Brazil and was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
