Founded by Andreas Ballnus, Alexander Landenburg, Domenik Papaemmanouil, Tobias Weißger and Kristoffer Gildenlöw, 2022 saw the release of Philosophobia's self-titled debut album which left a huge impact in the international prog metal scene! Numerous times journalists gave 10 out of 10 reviews, culminating in "Album of the month" in the French Rock Hard Magazine and ending up in several "album of the year" rankings. 2025 is now going to see the of Philosophobia's sophomore album "The Constant Void"! A rollercoaster ride from progressive metal to emotional and melancholic tunes. Combining the strength of the debut album with a more modern and heavier twist. Never losing sense for what is most important: the song itself! "The Constant Void" is also introducing virtuoso bass player Sebastian Heuckmann who has been playing live with Philosophobia since 2024. "The Constant Void" was again recorded by Phil Hillen at SU2 Studios in Germany and the artwork was again handled by Björn Gooßes at Killustrations in close cooperation with Philosophobia's mastermind Andreas Ballnus. A journalist once wrote: "Philosophobia have, with their debut album, have put themselves in a very strong position to become one of the most talked about new bands within the progressive metal sphere. And rightly so!" "The Constant Void" is Philosphobia's proof for this statement! Philosophobia have come to stay in the sphere of progressive metal!
