Cube in a Box is yet another great variant of the many popular cube puzzles in our collection. The puzzle was designed by Bill Cutler in 1991, and has inspired puzzles of the future for decades. Cube in a Box is a packing problem puzzle made of nine precision-cut, cubic pieces of wood. To solve the puzzle you must reconstruct these small cubes into a larger, 3x3x3 cube. The cubes are both brown and tan, meaning that the final product must alternate colors like a checkerboard.
