Long in the making and rich in imagination, Diary of a Teenage Prophet completes composer-producer Alex Wroten's Gatekeepers Trilogy with a darkly funny, genre-defying sci-fi epic that blurs the line between philosophy and pop.The story follows Bonnie Brown, a teenage eco-rebel who's cryogenically frozen during a nuclear apocalypse and awakens thousands of years later to discover her teenage diary has become the basis for a world religion.Featuring a staggering cast of collaborators - including members of Cheer-Accident, Shawn Phillips, Henry Kaiser, Amy Denio, Hugh Banton (Van der Graaf Generator), Morgan Ã…gren (Kaipa, Mats/Morgan), Ron Geesin, Fernando Perdomo and more - the album expands Wroten's surreal sonic universe into something both hilarious and unsettling.Available as a CD deluxe digipak with a 16-page lyric and art booklet and two exclusive bonus remixes - an essential edition of this ambitious 50-collaborator finale.
