"Fatti di Gente Perbene" (also known as "La Grande Bourgeoise" and "The Murri Affair") is a 1974 dramatic movie directed by Mauro Bolognini, starring actor Giancarlo Giannini and the international star Catherine Deneuve. It is one of many Italian films from the early 1970s that, under the pretext of a real historical event - in this case, the Murri murder case from the early 1900s - condemned situations of political and social decay. The soundtrack to "Fatti di Gente Perbene" was first released on vinyl in 1976 in Japan only, before appearing in Italy in the 1980s as part of Cinevox's budget series 'Ciak'. This is therefore the first LP reissue in almost forty years of an outstanding creation by Ennio Morricone, consisting mainly of compositions arranged for strings and piano in the case of romantic and melancholic pieces, and for strings alone when accompanying the most tension-filled moments in the film. "Al Bar" and "Le Chiacchiere Confidenziali" are brief forays into popular music for accordion and voice, perfectly matching the Maestro's style. Clear pink vinyl reissue with new artwork. Audio remastered by Claudio Fuiano.
