Gems Volume Five [Limited Edition] (ONLINE ORDER ONLY)

Roxx Records is excited to bring you a brand-new Limited-Edition series entitled Roxx GEMS. What is Roxx GEMS you ask? Roxx GEMS is a new series that will focus on many special underground rock/metal releases that may not have otherwise been able to get a vinyl or cd remastered edition. Items originally released in short run, cassette only demo tapes, or maybe previously unreleased GEMS from bands that have let us in to their archives. It may even feature a focus on a special instrumental artist from days gone by. This series has taken off and we are very excited to bring you the latest edition by way of Volume V set to feature classic Christian Metal band SARDONYX and a brand new previously unreleased GEM from way back in the day called BLOODJUSTICE Let's check out the music from GEMS Volume V starting with Side A and the amazing band SARDONYX hailing from the East Coast, Pennsylvania area of the US and started way back in 1988. The band also just released their brand-new album 'Anthems Of Warfare' (Stay Tuned for more info on that, you're going to love what's coming soon.) 35 years ago this year in 1990, this is the demo that started it all for SARDONYX Rebel of Reason a self-released demo cassette tape only release containing 4 killer metal tunes for the world to get their first official recorded taste of SARDONYX. Moving over to Side B of this amazing release we focus on a killer band you may not have ever heard of before hailing from the New Mexico area of the US... BloodJustice. The band formed back in 1984 and released only one cassette demo tape featuring 4 tracks. The band would sell it at gigs and through mailorder and actually received glowing reviews in magazings including Heavens Metal magazine. Alas while it was short lived the band would record one more track in the early 90's that would feature the talents of Greg Analla from SEVENTH SIGN and we have that long lost track added to this collection as the band recently located it. You can read the whole story in the CD liner notes or a very special insert we included for this vinyl. There you have it Roxx GEMS Volume V is a one-time short run release on limited edition CD and Orange Vinyl LP, all matching and aligning with the first four volumes in the series. This project was meticulously remastered by Rob Colwell of Bombworks Sound.
