HBM87004 USS Jimmy Carter SN-23 1/700 Scale Plastic Model Kit

The Jimmy Carter, the third and final submarine of the Seawolf class, was launched in June 2004 and commissioned in February 2005. The submarine is roughly 30 m longer than the other two ships of her class due to the insertion of a section known as the Multi-Mission Platform (MMP), which is the unique feature of the Jimmy Carter. MMP provides enhanced payload capabilities, enabling the submarine to accommodate the advanced technology required to develop and test new generations of weapons, sensors and undersea vehicles for naval special warfare, tactical surveillance operations.
