Their reach is long, and these noble warriors stand ready to fight those who would defile and sully the realms – above all, they hate the worshippers of the Dark Gods with a cold fury.
Nobility and Martial Skill Made Manifest
This loaded box is ideal for starting a new High Elf Realms collection – or expanding an existing army – to defend the World of Legend in games of Warhammer: The Old World, and it saves money compared to buying the kits separately. Commanded by a majestic Sea Guard-themed High Elf Lord, the core of the army is a unit of Lothern Sea Guard, a heavily armoured defensive unit ideal for holding ground. A band of Shadow Warriors offers long-range support to harass and disrupt the enemy, while an eagle-borne Lothern Skycutter delivers a heavy bolt-thrower wherever it's needed to take out high-value targets. A Tiranoc Chariot and a unit of Ellyrian Reavers charge forward to deliver death to those who would oppose the might of the High Elves. When taken together, they are a highly mobile force that hits hard where your enemy is weakest.
This boxed set builds 23 multipart plastic High Elf Realms miniatures:
– 1 High Elf Lord
– 10 Lothern Sea Guard
– 5 Shadow Warriors (can alternatively be built as Sisters of Avelorn)
– 5 Ellyrian Reavers
– 1 Lothern Skycutter
– 1 Tiranoc Chariot (can alternatively be built as a Lion Chariot of Chrace)
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Lothern Skycutter kit builds both the Skycutter itself, and the High Elf Lord on foot. It can be assembled with 3 Lothern Sea Guard crew, 2 Lothern Sea Guard and a bolt thrower, or the High Elf Lord can ride it with 1 Lothern Sea Guard. The Swiftfeather Roc has a choice of 2 different heads, 2 sets of claws, and can have its wings assembled up or down. The chariot itself has a choice of 2 front figurehead decorations, 2 back banners, and 2 rear decorations. The crew have 2 head options each, making it easy to customise your airborne war machine. The High Elf Lord can be assembled with or without a cape, and if you equip your Lothern Skycutter with an eagle-eye bolt thrower, they can alternatively be built on foot, with the option to carry a Battle Standard.
The Lothern Sea Guard come with components to build an optional champion, standard bearer, and musician.
The Shadow Warriors can be assembled with an optional champion. Alternatively, they can be assembled as Sisters of Avelorn, armed with magical bows, who also have an optional champion.
The Ellyrian Reavers can be assembled with an optional champion, standard bearer, and musician.
The Tiranoc Chariot includes a choice of 2 heads for the driver, and 2 heads for the crew, who can be armed with a spear or a bow. There is also a spear or a bow to add to the rear of the chariot. It can alternatively be built as a Lion Chariot of Chrace, a heavier option. If you choose to build this kit as a Tiranoc Chariot, the leftover lion miniatures can be used to represent War Lions in your games. Please note that bases for War Lions are not included in this kit.
