Get ready to defend everything you hold dear, because giant monsters are on the horizon, and only your towering war machine stands a chance! HOME is a thrilling roleplaying and mapmaking game that puts you directly in the boots of a mech pilot tasked with protecting their home from devastating Kaiju.
One year ago, an invading Kaiju laid waste to a city in your home region. Scans show that more are coming, and the response was clear: we built the mechs. These aren't just machines; they're your last line of defense. HOME is a deeply story-forward game filled with action, exploration, hope, and the painful possibility of loss. You'll build your home, customize your pilot, and craft your mech, all while preparing for the inevitable battle. Construct vital bases, unite fragmented nations, or delve into the mysterious Aether in your desperate search for an edge. And when the moment of truth arrives, you'll face the Kaiju in a deadly showdown where the stakes couldn't be higher – because if you lose, your home is lost forever.
This game is designed for 1-4 players, allowing you to play solo or team up with up to three friends. There's no preparation needed and no GM required, so you can get started quickly and build your world collaboratively through play. Choose from 6 flavorful playbooks to craft your unique home, pilot, and mech, from the prototype-loving Engineer to the enigmatic Aethereal. You can even play as the Kaiju yourself, building a terrifying monster to battle against another player's mech!
Weave a cinematic story with tense flashbacks, unleash devastating Kaiju powers, or make the ultimate sacrifice by detonating your mech's core. The thrilling d6 dice mechanic is easy to learn, yet every roll matters, keeping you on the edge of your seat. With three escalating scenarios, HOME is perfect for a single intense evening of play.
Are you ready to defend your HOME, Pilot?
