Overview
The HPI Racing Clutch Bell (19T) is a high-strength machined steel clutch bell hardened for maximum durability on the HPI Savage 1/8 scale monster trucks. The clutch bell mates with the spur gear to transfer engine power into the drivetrain.
This 19T option provides a higher top-end gearing ratio, ideal for smooth surfaces, longer straights, and faster top speeds. Drilled lightening holes reduce rotating mass for quicker acceleration and help cool the clutch shoes for consistent performance. Each bell is stamped with the tooth count for easy identification.
Key Features
- Genuine HPI Racing Savage clutch bell
- Machined steel, hardened for durability
- 19 tooth count
- Compatible with stock Savage spur gears
- Mandatory upgrade when running HPI steel spur gears
- Lightening holes for faster acceleration and cooler running
- Tooth count stamped on the bell
Performance Benefits
- Higher top speed (vs. lower-tooth clutch bells)
- Reduced rotating mass for quicker response
- Better clutch cooling and consistency
- Long service life under hard use
Usage Notes
- Best for smooth surfaces, longer straights, and high-speed runs
- Use with stock Savage spurs or HPI steel spur gears (mandatory upgrade in that case)
