Chicago's Warforged is looking to carve out their own spot within the world of progressive death metal.Through the years, the band has developed an underground hype within their niche, opening up for national and international legends THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DYING FETUS, THE FACELESS, DECAPITATED, HATE ETERNAL, NE OBLIVISCARIS, BEYOND CREATION, AND DECREPIT BIRTH, among many others.The quintet made waves in 2014 with their first release: Essence Of The Land - a 14 - minute, four song ghost story through the swamps of old time America - and again in 2015 with their eight minute single: Two Demons. The releases laid the foundation for the band's songwriting ethos and concepts: horrifying & beautiful, dynamic & aggressive, harmony found through dissonance, an ebb and flow through drama and resolution, a flirtation with memory, a call for collaboration, personality and reality - immense emotional energy seamlessly woven within the death metal genre.Warforged works to put out deep, powerful music and visual content in hopes of pushing the genre forward and providing inspiration for the next generation of metal musicians & songwriters.
