Step back in time and hold a piece of architectural history in your hands with our Imperial Hotel Playing Cards. This isn't just a deck - it's a tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic masterpiece that once graced the skyline of Tokyo.
Created in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to celebrate the centennial of the Imperial Hotel, these cards are a window into Wright's genius. Each one is meticulously illustrated by Ethan Kowaleski, working closely with Brad Fulton and our own Dan & Dave Buck, to bring Wright's original drawings to life in your hands.
From 1913 to 1968, the Imperial Hotel stood as a testament to Wright's innovative design, surviving earthquakes that leveled much of Tokyo. While the original building may be gone, its spirit lives on in this deck. The main entrance and lobby, now preserved at the Museum Meiji-mura near Nagoya, serve as inspiration for these stunning cards.
Usually available only at select Frank Lloyd Wright establishments, we're thrilled to offer a very limited quantity here at Bards & Cards. Whether you're an architecture buff, a Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiast, or a collector of unique playing cards, this deck is a must-have.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to shuffle through a century of architectural brilliance. Deal yourself a hand of history with the Imperial Hotel Playing Cards!
