The Impossible Square is an amusing brainteaser puzzle for all ages, young and old! Based on an original design called "No Fit" (also knowne as Mitsunobu Matsuyama's "paradox") created in the 1990s by Niek Neuwahl, the goal of the Impossible Square is to fit a small, additional square piece into the frame with the other 4 pieces and form a larger square! At first glance, it will seem impossible to add another piece into the frame, but that is exactly what must be done, and what makes this puzzle so intriguing. This puzzle is solvable indeed, and has one of the most elegant solutions in our collection….once you’ve figured out the secret!
