Hrishikesh Hirway, musician, composer and podcast creator, is set to release his newest LP In the Last Hour of Light on April 24, 2026 via Keeled Scales. Known for his award-winning podcast and Netflix series, Song Exploder, and compositions for film and television, including Companion, Save The Date, Our Nixon, and Everything Sucks!, his original music project started under the name One AM Radio, and changed to his own name with the 2022 release Rooms I Used To Call My Own EP.Produced by Grammy-winning producer Philip Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker, Theo Katzman, Cass McCombs), In the Last Hour of Light is a memoir about letting go-of people, of memories, of the desire to stop time from moving too fast. The songs were born in the wake of Hrishikesh's mother's death, as the years since push her further into the past; in the moments spent waiting for his father to recover in his hospital room; in the dream of a daughter that he will never have.
