You are vying for the throne of the kingdom, intent on restoring the rightful heir. Use one of the three included modules to experience different play modes. It’s a Wonderful Kingdom is a standalone solo or 2-player game in a fantasy universe. Inspired by the core mechanics of its predecessor “It’s a Wonderful World”, this new game offers more interaction, a bluff mechanism and new challenges. The game is played using modules, each different and offering mechanical twists. Each game, players will choose one of the different modules to compete against each other.

The players take turns offering cards from their hands using an “I split, you choose” mechanism, choosing one of the opponent’s offerings, then making an offering of their own. Trap tokens allow some cards to be offered face down. Once all the cards have been offered, both players simultaneously review their selections to decide what they want to add to their duchy, and what they want to recycle for immediate resources. Finally, both players’ duchies produce resources. Clever planning will enable growth and development at this stage.

Once production is complete, the round ends and a new offering phase begins. This process is repeated a total of four times, after which the player who has earned the most victory points is the winner, and is crowned ruler of the Wonderful Kingdom!
