This compilation of vintage EVERLY?BROTHERS cuts is drawn from EPs issued in the U. S. , the U. K. , France and West Germany, between 1957 and 1962. Phil and Don were of course at their creative and commercial peak during this period, selling millions of records worldwide. Nine of the sides featured herein were penned by Felice & Boudleaux Bryant, who wrote so many of The Evs' hits. However, this set omits their hits (which can be found on "Walk Right Back, The Singles Collection 1956-62", JASCD792), in favour of lesser-known LP tracks, drawn from classic albums like "They're Off And Rolling", "Songs Our Daddy Taught Us", "It's Everly Time", "A?Date With The Everly Brothers", "Both Sides Of An Evening" and "Instant Party!". Also included is a fiercely-rare dedicated EP?of German language recordings, "The Everly Brothers In Deutschland".
