Inspired by the extraordinary English youth movement of the same name, The Kibbo Kift blends history, ritual, satire and 1970s rock songwriting into a dramatic and highly original song cycle. This first-ever CD release brings together 24 tracks from studio sessions, home-recorded tapes, and a live performance directed by Mel Smith (Not The Nine O'Clock News). Restored and remastered by Prof. Stoned with full involvement from both creators, it's a fascinating and newly unearthed chapter in Britain's underground musical story.
