The world of gastronomy awaits! As a team of new restaurant owners, players must work together efficiently to make their gastronomic endeavor a success. They will have to use only the finest ingredients, season with the freshest herbs and avoid keeping their guests waiting – only then their restaurant will prosper.

Kitchen Rush is a cooperative real-time worker placement game that evokes the feel of a busy kitchen by using hourglasses as workers. While all play simultaneously, and time is limited, every action in the game – from cleaning plates to serving dishes – requires time. Coordination, discussion, and staying on top of all tasks is the key to success in Kitchen Rush. However, since nobody is born a star chef, the game teaches players all rules through 8 increasingly difficult scenarios, and allows them to upgrade their restaurant with parts of the modular game board along the way. At the same time this allows players to scale the game’s difficulty to their liking.
