Featuring deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises, each Nightmare Deck introduces new, alternate encounter cards and instructions for using them to reshape a scenario's encounter deck. The result? A nightmarish journey through territory you thought you knew, but with twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat!
Following your nautical journey where you sailed treacherous seas, battled Monsters, evaded the Undead, and explored long-lost caverns, you have returned to find the port city of Dol Amroth to find it under threat by Corsairs fleet! In the A Storm on Cobas Haven Nightmare Deck, the invaders have bolstered their strength since your last encounter, and now the enemy ships actively prevent you from forwarding your quest's progress. With new rules and encounter cards fill your enemy's ranks, you will find yourself in one of the most punishing battles you have ever faced!
Nightmare Decks are available via FFG's In-House Manufacturing and may differ subtly in appearance and texture from Core Set cards. Players are encouraged to utilize opaque or art sleeves while playing in Nightmare Mode.
This is not a standalone product. It requires a copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game Core Set, The Grey Havens deluxe expansion, and A Storm on Cobas Haven adventure pack to play.
