M997A2 HMMWV Ambulance – 28mm Modern
Not every mission is about firepower. Some are about getting your people out.
The M997A2 HMMWV Ambulance brings the medical side of modern warfare to your 28mm table. Based on the classic Humvee platform, this dedicated evacuation variant was built to move casualties fast — from the point of injury to somewhere safer.
Boxy, unmistakable, and seen everywhere from desert conflicts to peacekeeping operations, the M997A2 adds a whole new layer of realism to your scenarios.
This isn’t just another vehicle — it changes the mission.
Use it for:
🚑 MEDEVAC under fire – Extract wounded troops while the rest of the squad lays down covering fire.
🏜️ Desert Storm and 90s operations – Perfect for Gulf War and early GWOT-era forces.
🌍 Peacekeeping missions – Humanitarian assistance and stability ops.
🏙️ Urban combat scenarios – Clearing buildings is one thing. Getting your casualties out is another.
🎯 Objective-based games – Protect the ambulance, escort it across the table, or disable the enemy’s evacuation route.
Adding medical evacuation forces players to think differently. Do you risk moving the ambulance closer to the fight? Do you dedicate troops to escort it? Suddenly, every casualty matters.

Because sometimes the most important vehicle on the table is the one trying to save what’s left.
