Seelie Court - the world's premier label for rare and previously unreleased archive recordings of underground folk, rock, proto-metal, and psychedelic music presents Rainbird. This extremely rare Rainbird LP has only been heard by a few people, managing to escape internet uploads until 2022. Of the 200 privately issued, it's thought that most were destroyed in the early '70s. The wrong cover - a terrible concoction of the Printer's was used on the LP, but luckily a Poster was recently found with the gorgeously Psychedelic original LP design which is reinstated on this edition. Rainbird's music is a willfully indulgent and eccentric dreamlike Progressive Rock, swathed in hypnotic flute, sometimes reminiscent of the Moody Blues' more introspective moments.
