Alice Cohens new album Moonrising follows a long career in pop and rock music, beginning in the late 70s with the Philly Sound funk band Fun City, through the 80s in The Vels and the 90s with Die Monster Die. The aughts through now found Alice exploring more lo-fi, DIY electronic pop stylings, releasing solo albums with Olde English Spelling Bee and NNA Tapes. Moonrising reconnects to Alices rock-oriented history, channeling dream pop trappings through fuzz pedals adorned with the perfect melodies - this is pop rock music at its finest from a true veteran of the genres spectrum.
