Gareth Quinn Redmond is an Irish ambient musician, recognized as one of the leading voices inIreland's ambient music scene. His work is deeply influenced by the Japanese concept ofKankyo Ongaku-or environmental music-which focuses on crafting soundscapes that helpthe listener connect with their surroundings. Much of Quinn Redmond's music draws from thework of composer Satoshi Ashikawa, who described his work as a "sound scenery to be listenedto casually... drifting like smoke."
