In this first volume, you'll meet Yato, a minor god with big dreams. Known as a "delivery god," Yato offers his services to anyone in need, no matter how trivial the request may be. But behind his carefree demeanor lies a deeper longing - to build his own shrine and gain a place among the revered gods of Japan.
When a young girl named Hiyori Iki is involved in a near-fatal accident while trying to save Yato, her life takes an unexpected turn. Now, she's caught between the world of the living and the realm of spirits, with her soul frequently slipping out of her body. Determined to find a way to return to normal, Hiyori joins forces with Yato and embarks on a quest to unravel the mysteries of the spirit world.
But they're not alone in their journey. Alongside Yato and Hiyori is Yukine, a spirit transformed into a weapon to aid Yato in his battles. As they navigate through dangerous encounters with vengeful spirits and uncover the secrets of Yato's past, their bond strengthens, and they become an unstoppable team.
