Have you ever felt so proud of something you've done that you just can't quite wrap your brain around the fact that you actually did it? I hope so because it's a pretty great feeling. These songs are the start of what I like to call the "fully realized" Supersuckers and I'm thinkin' that you will look at us in a whole new way after hearing this rock that we've laid down here. This is as good as we've ever been and, thanks to the help of our long-time friend, Mr. Billy Joe Bowers, it's the best sounding recording we've ever made. This E.P. represents the start of a bigger project that will culminate in an album in the not so distant future. We plan on putting out two or three of these little gems and then collect the main songs from them to put together a full length record that will feature new, previously unreleased songs as well. It's like they used to do in the fifties. First came the single, then the E.P. or "extended play" and then the L.P., the "long player" and that is what we want to model this project after. With the ways that folks are getting their music changing so fast, it's a great time for a band like The Supersuckers to re-think the way we deliver it. I like my records, but I'm not afraid of change. Are you? I hope you enjoy our rock, regardless of what format happens to be bringing it to your discerning ear hole. Thanks for choosing quality.
