Can music really transport us? In Peaple in Paris, you will discover this and much more!
Welcome to Book One of The Adventures of Penelopea and Peater! Join your favorite Peaple as they embark on an unexpected journey, right in their own backyard!
Penelopea and Peater are happily playing in their woods when, all of sudden, they find themselves in a far-away place, wondering how they will ever get home! Luckily, little sister Penelopea knows how to take charge and have fun along the way! Teaching her big brother Peater that anything is possible, she helps him remember that, through nature and song, we can connect to the magic in the world around us.
Sam Campanaro has an art degree and Masters in Education. She has an extensive background in childhood education, including art, music, and special education, and she is also a certified yoga instructor. Sam resides in New England with her husband and three daughters. Her belief in the importance of preserving the childhood connection we all have to nature, music, and adventure is what inspired this book and the characters. Her writing conveys the message, "No matter how lost we feel, we can always find our way home."
Audrey Rich Predun grew up in a family of visual artists, so she knew she would pursue a career in the arts. She earned a BFA in classical painting and attended artist residencies in the U.S and Europe. She draws inspiration from the community of creators she's surrounded herself with and is driven to create elements of surprise for children and adults alike. As a mother who spends a lot of time reading with her daughter, she particularly enjoys creating illustrations for children's books.
