FKW 016 brings together remixes by a diverse range of electronic producers such as Jeff Sharel, Luciano, Frédéric Galliano, Louis 2000, and Tokyo Black Star. Immersed in the Frikyiwa catalogue, they skillfully reinterpret acoustic vocals and traditional melodies from Black Africa, originally performed by artists including Hadja Kouyaté, Ali Boulo Santo, Lipitone, Filifin, and N'Gou Bagayoko.
