The legend of Robin Hood has been told countless times on the silver screen, including Walt Disney’s own live-action film, The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men in 1952. After Treasure Island (1950), this was Walt Disney's second live-action theatrical movie. Unlike most of the Robin Hood movies, some scenes in the Disney version were actually filmed in the real Sherwood Forest!
