This deck recreates the Japanese classic story of Raijin, with a 21st century look. Raijin is the god of lightning, thunder and storms.

The design of Raijin Playing Cards is the result of our collaboration with the UK illustrator, Fionn Jordan. Fionn Jordan is an Art Traveler who has lived in both Japan and Taiwan for several years, so he is already deep into East Asian culture. Fionn is good at creating comics, hence our inviting him to join this project. It must be hard to imagine that this kind of Eastern style is created by a Westerner!

To convey to you the care that has gone into these decks, this project was a year in the making, and has been revised over ten times. In the last period of this project, Fionn needed to finish his parts in the UK due to logistical issues. This project is the first time for BOMBMAGIC to do tripartite cross-border cooperation with Taiwan, Japan, and UK, and we hope that you are thrilled with the results!
