Genre-defying, Nashville-based quintet Rainbow Kitten Surprise have announced their first official live album, RKS! Live From Athens Georgia. The 25-song collection - recorded during a two-night stand at The Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA, on the band's 2019 sold out North American tour. Not more than two years ago, Rainbow Kitten Surprise launched the biggest headline tour of their career thus far in support of their Elektra Records debut, How To: Friend, Love, Freefall. The Friend, Love Freefall Tour spanned 50 sold-out shows highlighted by 6 venue upgrades, 3 second nights added, and over 80, 000 tickets sold. They even packed the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre to the gills and were scheduled to return for two sold out nights in 2021 that were canceled due to the pandemic. On October 1, 2019, they rolled through Athens and lit up The 40 Watt Club before gracing the stage of The Georgia Theatre two nights in a row October 3 and October 4.
