By The Mid-40s It Was Becoming A Standard, With Further Pop Hits From Bing Crosby, The Dinning Sisters, Jo Stafford And Patti Page, And Later By The Four Lovers, The Ames Brothers, Pat Boone, Teresa Brewer And Clint Eastwood. Similarly, C&W Singers Like Carl Smith, Dick Curless, Patsy Cline, George Jones And Ray Price Recorded Hugely Popular Covers.
