Overview
The Savox SA1231SGP is a high-torque coreless digital servo built around a uniquely strong steel gear train with minimized backlash. Designed originally for demanding aircraft applications, it's equally capable in monster trucks and rock crawlers where extra torque without the need for HV power is required.
The slightly taller aluminum middle case provides excellent heat management for sustained loads.
Key Features
- Extremely strong unique steel gear train
- Minimized backlash for precise control
- Coreless motor for smooth operation
- Aluminum middle case for cooler operating temps
- Slightly taller case for improved internals
- Torque 32 kg / 444.4 oz-in @ 6V
- Speed 0.14 sec/60° @ 6V
- Dimensions 40.3 x 20.2 x 44.9 mm, Weight 79 g
Applications
- Large RC airplanes and scale aircraft
- Monster trucks and 1/10 bashers
- Scale rock crawlers
- Heavy-duty steering applications
Scale Capability
The SA1231SGP bridges aircraft and ground vehicle use with equal authority. Aircraft builders get the minimized backlash and precision needed for large control surfaces; crawler and monster truck drivers get massive 6V torque that can turn heavy tires through obstacles without needing an HV setup.
