Sing Wistle Tunes is a thunderous reinvention of John Entwistle's songwriting legacy, led by Ex Norwegian and a cast of Think Like A Key Music friends. His 17-track tribute album unearths The Who bassist's hidden gems, polishing them with a psychedelic power pop sheen. From reimagined classics like "Cousin Kevin" and "Boris The Spider" to deep cuts given new life, each track pulsates with Moon-esque drum flourishes and classic rock DNA while feeling remarkably fresh. SUPER 8, God Bless The Evil Child, John Howard, Fernando Perdomo, Nick Frater, Keith Smart, and Mark Johnston join the musical excavation, each bringing their unique touch to Entwistle's compositions. Whether it's "905" time-traveling to a Big Star universe or "Whiskey Man" getting a double shot of reinvention, "Sing Wistle Tunes" isn't just a nostalgia trip-it's a bold exploration of The Ox's oft-overlooked songwriting brilliance, creating a world where Entwistle's music rules in beautifully bizarre new forms.
