Songs for Midi is the first new solo music in 4 years from producer Kwes. Since he released his album ilp in 2013 Kwes has been keeping extremely busy behind the scenes, producing for, collaborating with and being sampled by the likes of Solange, NAO, Hudson Mohawke and Pusha T. In addition to providing production work for Kelelas Take Me Apart he also mixed the entire album. Songs for Midi sees him stepping out on his once more with a concise collection of instrumental tracks that showcase his standalone talent.
