Das Behälter is a band that has a cavity inside. When the music begins, it fills with the wisdom of millennia, the love of saints and the anarchist, excessive groove of the schizo disco. Around 2015 the band grew out of Essen's experimental music underground and self-released their debut album "The World Is All That Is The Case" on vinyl. The band consists of the agitative vocals by Xenia Ende, the transformable saxophones by Julius Gabriel, the intriguing electronics by Achim Zepezauer, the groovy bass guitar by Gabor Bodolay and the artful drums by Karl-F. Degenhardt. Das Behälter gives the improvisational use of text and music a new dimension. Their new album is called "A star of the future" and will be released in February 2023. On limited vinyl (300) in gatefold cover.
