Step off of dry land and into Tacklebox, a surreal fishing RPG where reality shifts with every card! Featuring 40 roleplaying prompts by designer J. Walton & surrealist author James Tadd Adcox, Tacklebox can be enjoyed as a 2-player storytelling game or competitive party game.
In Tacklebox, card prompts shift the nature of reality around you. Keeping each prompt to yourself, any time you draw a card you're tasked with roleplaying its change in circumstances to your fishing partner. Prompts can either be kept a secret for the full game, strategically played to guide roleplaying, or revealed when guessed to earn points. Simply choose your rules, grab your cards, and cast your line into the unknown!
Review
"The first time I played Tacklebox my friend and I played it across 30 minutes, we then talked about that game for 20 minutes, we then immediately decided to play another game of Tacklebox, and after that I was left going home thinking about the other friends I wanted to play this with. .... You can go to your friend's house and say hey, hey, hey, do you want to do something wierd with me? It takes about 20 minutes."
